"Too Crooked to Fail": Matt Taibbi Says Bailouts, Fraud are the Secrets to Bank of America’s Success

"Too Crooked to Fail": Matt Taibbi Says Bailouts, Fraud are the Secrets to Bank of America’s Success
Hey folks check this out: I can't close my acct at Bank of America, I've tried....check this out: I did about two months ago & this week I got a refund as a credit from my garbage company that I paid months ago with my debit/credit card- not automatic withdrawal bill pay..... and the $1.64 credit caused my acct. to reopen. This then created a monthly charge for my acct being open, causing me to go into a negative balance of around $10.00. So today I went in, had to withdraw the $1.64, BOA reversed the monthly charge & I can't close it again until Monday so both transactions clear. I was also told that it could happen again if I haven't contacted every company I have ever used my credit/debit card with...WTH???? This is an absolute nightmare. READ YOUR STATEMENTS! DONT GO TO PAPERLESS EITHER...especially if you think you have closed an acct. I have a call into the garbage company to let them know that the card & the acct are no longer( or aren't supposed to be active anymore)....anyone else having problems like this?
