Please help out with this,there are still people out there without heat and electricity something that we all take for granted,look at your own family and ask yourself "What if that was my family!?" and then answer it
We are still trying and looking for ways to help as well,I will not rest until they are not suffering!

With the first winter snow storm already under foot, I ask that you please send what ever you can to this organization. Every dollar counts. If we all get together and mail one dollar to the address listed below and tell them the dollar is for the utility fund, we may keep a few families not only from freezing this winter but also together.
Cangleska, Inc. runs the only battered women's shelter on Pine Ridge Reservation. There are many mothers with children who are struggling to set up new households on their own with little or no belongings. They often struggle to pay their utilities and reach out to Cangleska for help. Many live in substandard housing that lack the proper insulation to protect them from the cold winter weather, which can drop to thirty below zero.
Unfortunately there are never enough funds to help all of these mothers and children and it often means the children will be removed from the home by social services organizations due to the lack of utilities. Your donations to Cangleska will not only help these families back on their feet but will help keep the children from being separated from their mothers. Thank you so much for your support.
